why we care

Because those experiencing hard things matter too much to give up on.

Isolation, stigma, and shame will not stand in the way of our love and support.

No matter how sad. Or how afraid. Or how alone. Or how diverse. Or how elevated. Whatever their experience, it will not keep us from showing up.

Mental health remains a somewhat taboo subject in some parts of our community, but the latest research reveals that nearly 40% of young Australians (aged 16-24) are experiencing a mental health disorder.  Two in every 5 young people are suffering, and many of them feel too ashamed to open up.

Disconnection is the antagonist in this story, and we think that 'resolute love' can bring connection in the midst of all things.
